Solid wall HDPE pipes are exemplary for protecting electrical cables installed underground or at road crossings because of their chemical and abrasion-resistant nature and impressive elongation properties. These pipes can be installed either by open trenching or trenchless method, which is Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).
CS manufactures solid wall HDPE pipes in the standard lengths of 6 meters, 12 meters or in coil length 100 meter, as according to customer specification. There are three pipe series available for cable laying: SDR 17, SDR 13.6 and SDR 11. We recommend pipe series SDR 17 is solely for open trench application. Meanwhile, pipe series SDR 13.6 and SDR 11 can be used in open trench and HDD installation methods.
